
Bow String Truss designed by Joeseph G. Henszey of Philadelphia, PA. Built in 1870 as a two span for Slatington, PA, Main Street over Trout Creek and the Allentown and Slatington Street RR. Moved to present location in 1900. Compression members were supplied by the Phoenix Iron Co. and bridge built by The Continental Bridge Co. of Philadelphia. The restoration and relocation to “Central Pennsylvania College”, near Harrisburg was completed in 2002.
